The New FSBIT.NET
The New FSBIT.net is Online
It is with great pleasure we announce the new FSBIT website www.fsbit.net. The new website is what we are calling the one stop shop for information, training, and assistance. The website’s mission is to give all the information a member may be looking for relative to the Trust issues or issues that affect the Trust. With the great efforts of the FSBIT’s IT department, the site’s mission is coming together.
I suggest you review the site and take a tour around. Some of the information that is on the site include updates on Legislation activities both from the state and federal side about insurance, safety, and health. Some items already discussed is the activities of the Florida House and Senate Insurance and Banking Committees relative possible bills changing Workers’ Compensation laws.
Some of the other website sections include:
- Upcoming events
- A member specific sign-in area so members can see all their information from policies to service plans
- Education/training area so that all member resources are in one area including recordings of past training sessions
- One place to report a claim
- Hot topics, a place to find areas of concern for FSBIT members relative to the Trust
- And a Risk Management section for information to help Risk Managers in their day to day activities
This is not all the sections, and we are adding items to the website almost every day. So please take a tour around. Give us your feedback. We want this site to be as useful as possible without being a burden to find what you are looking for. We want this site to be the go-to place if you have a question, concern or just looking for the most up to date information. We hope this site becomes one of those places you go at least once a week to see what is going on in the Trust’s world of insurance.
One other thing about the website, we hope it can cut down on multiple emails from us. We are hoping that shorter occasional email blasts reminding all that new information is on the website. We hope this way, reducing emails but increasing information sharing and education.
As always, if you have any questions or input, please contact me or any FSBIT team member.
